Hey there, fellow maniacs! How have y’all been?

Please read till the end. Also, comment the thoughts that you have on your mind.

It’s been a long time since I wrote something here. Today is Friday, the 9th of October. My mind is full of thoughts. With a cup of coffee just as full as my mind, I’m writing this to just talk instead of writing the usual book reviews. So here’s a peek of what’s on my mind.

For the past few months, I’ve been very short tempered. Maybe it’s all the work that is thrown at me from college (aah, my life sucks), or the sudden news about my exams, or just the fact that I’ve been very unproductive during this entire lockdown. Whatever may be the reason, things started going a little out of hands. When it comes to emotions, I am a pretty good handler. But anger? That’s a huge NO.

It’s reached an extent where I yell at my mom and dad without thinking twice. I lost temper while talking to my closest buddies too.

Now I thought the solution to this would be me not talking to them at all. Because only if we talk, we have opinion clashes, or some sort of argument. Distance clears disruptions, eh? Well, I have to say, things did work out well that way. We didn’t fight or have any arguments at all.

Today, when I sat down to think, it was really heart rending to know what a huge mistake I was making,

Is avoiding the cause a solution to any problem?

Absolutely no! It’s important to reach the why’s and how’s of the cause.

If you have a problem with what your friend or family is doing, tell them. Don’t avoid the friend or the consequences. Just let them know. Talk it out.

If you don’t feel like doing your works, give yourself a break, clear your mind, and get back to it. Don’t try to escape from doing it.

If you ever feel low, don’t try hard to distract yourself from what’s making you sad. Sit down with yourself, understand what and why this is happening, face it, and put it behind you, once and for all.

All I wanna say is, there’s no better feeling than facing your fear and winning over it. You are capable of doing anything, why make doing nothing your first choice?

Sending you all the positive vibes and the power to face anything you come across!

Until my next post, ciao!

  1. Thank you for this candid sharing. Indeed the message of facing the problem instead of avoiding is is really important, your quote is really wise too! I will remember this whenever I get upset with my sibling (which is too often yikes! so you are not alone). ❤

      1. Thank you so much, Mamtha!
As far as the childish part is concerned, it’s purely to lighten up the space here. However, yes, there’s still a kid inside me though 🙂
Thank you for taking the time to let me know. Such motivation is what keeps me going. Have a good day! 🙂
